In June of 2012, I had the please of being the Kent Island wedding photographer of Jesse and Dana’s fab wedding! Weddings themselves are already an eventful day, throw in a (not-so-little) Derecho storm the night before and there’s potential for an extremely eventful day! A lot of Marylanders were without power from Friday’s storm, traffic was a nightmare coming over the Bay Bridge and it was STILL a sultry and humid, 100-ish degrees! Luckily for all of us, the church still had AC, Maria’s B&B still had power and they had already arranged to have fans during their sweet reception, under the tent! I was lucky to have such awesome people to work with because things did go wrong, but we just rolled with it. The most important elements of the day still went off, without a hitch: the ceremony, the photos and the partying! A great time was had by all, as you can see from some of these photos. I wish the newlyweds all the best!
