I’m going to get right to it – when we all woke on on April and Chris’ wedding day is was raining, it was cloudy and pretty much all around gloomy. That is enough to make any bride (and wedding photographer?) a little bit frazzled but not on this day, April was as calm as a cucumber and so were we. When you plan a wedding you have a vision of how the perfect day will go but if you’re smart, you plan for the not so perfect things – like rain. Luckily, April and Chris chose a location with a full and beautiful indoor rain plan, where the operations run as smooth as I’ve ever seen – rain or shine. We started the day off at the Westin in Annapolis, then headed over the Bay Bridge in the fog for their ceremony and reception where nobody even talked about the weather and we had an amazing time, dancing the night away. And one thing you will never get to do if it doesn’t rain is use our cool umbrella with the lights trick, so they should feel special for that alone! 😉 Congrats to the newlyweds!
