I first met Jen and Dave when they were living in DC. They quickly decided what they wanted – and booked us right away, I love when that happens! Because these two were getting ready to embark on a work journey, overseas, we also quickly set up their Georgetown engagement shoot. I loved their classic style and they’re so easy to pose, it was a great evening. Fast forward to July and we met up again, at the beautiful Whitehall Manor property in Bluemont, VA. This place is my kinda place! The first thing you see when you pull in are barns, instantly I was even more excited… I will never deny how much I love barns! Their family and friends are all so gorgeous, so it fit in perfectly with the scenery. The rain did it’s little thing but we were able to have the ceremony outside, like they wanted, and continue on with photos outdoors, too.
Some of my favorite things: the travel details and photos, since they vacation all the time, they incorporated that into their theme. All the great dancing, who knew these people would know how to GET DOWN! the bride and groom’s final, private dance – alone, without any guests (well, alone with just the DJ and the photographers) 🙂 Congrats to this sweet couple!
