The Olivia Act was named after one of the children killed in the Newtown, CT tragedy. Olivia’s family had just gotten family portraits taken, a short time before she was killed. Those pictures are precious and now priceless to them. Upon hearing this, this photographer was moved to give away a family photo shoot and has challenged other photographers to do the same. We go about our daily lives and sometimes we don’t take the time or have the resources to have family photos taken. Not everyone can justify spending the money on a family portrait session, but that does not mean they value them any less than those who can.
I will be taking nominations for a free mini-outdoor, family session w/disc from now until 2/10/13. Session to be taken somewhere in the Central MD or Eastern Shore vicinity. The winner will be selected shortly afterwards:
Please nominate a family that you think deserves a free session, a family who may not otherwise be able to book a portrait session but would appreciate this gift of memories.
Please send your nominations to [email protected]
Please title the subject “Olivia Act” and include a brief message on who you’re nominating and why you think they deserve this free session. The winner will be contacted by email or phone, so please include their contact info, in the email. All nominations will remain anonymous, unless otherwise noted.
Please feel free to SHARE this with your friends and families, so as many deserving families have a chance to be nominated!
