Welcome to the blog post of one of my favorite weddings EVER, a beautiful Queenstown farm wedding! Sorry, if I am partial to fun and good looking people, red barns and gorgeous weather. Have I mention that I love barns? because I do. And any opportunity that I can be near one, or even better: take photos in front of one, I’m all in! (although you will not find me farming because that’s really hard work and I don’t have a green thumb, AT ALL!)
These red barns are even more special because they are family-owned and operated, so there was a sentimental aspect to having the wedding there. Another awesome thing, because they own it, they were able to do whatever they wanted on it, so they stayed and partied all night long. I was thoroughly impressed with all of Holly’s DIY projects to make the large barn feel warm and welcoming, she did not let any details go untouched, including getting (two) custom dresses which she hand beaded. Wendy and I worked this one together, and as is usually the case at least once or twice a year, we didn’t want to leave when we were off… so we didn’t! We even participated in the popular photo booth (see below) it was worth the wait! I am always happy to have easy-going and grateful clients and I can truly say that Holly, Steve and crew were exactly that! It was nice to feel loved and we loved them right back! Congrats to the newlyweds + Hannah and Cade 🙂
