Welcome to Elizabeth and John’s afternoon, Matapeake Beach wedding! The public was kicked off the beach, so the Bride, Groom and their closest friends and family, could party down all night long! An especially warm day (for April) started with John and Elizabeth’s “First Look” on the beach. John’s outfit would not have been complete without my very own blue bandana, so he couldn’t see his beautiful bride! I loved the look on both of their faces when he took the bandana off, and they saw each other for the first time. The tears were definitely flowing for all who viewed it. I don’t do a ton of First Looks, and that’s okay, but when I do, it’s always a really exciting moment! Because they saw each other beforehand, we were able to do a lot of the posed shots early, so there was less to do after the ceremony. We still made plenty of stops for beautiful photos throughout the day, since there are a lot of good places for pics. Matapeake Beach is one of my favorite Kent Island spots for a wedding and we were happy to be there and be a part of their special day. Congrats to the newlyweds! <3 -Dunks
