Welcome the blog post of a beautiful Washington D.C. engagement session! Peter, Misty and myself first met at a beautiful wedding last fall, in St. Michael’s, MD. Peter was the master chef for the evening and Misty was there to help him out! Since the wedding day was so laid back, during dinner time I was actually able to sit down and dine with Misty and got to know them a little bit! I even remember them asking for my card, for “when the time came for their own wedding”. When the time finally did arrive to look for a wedding photographer, they got back in touch with me! While I have done other sessions in D.C., this was my first official session on the National Mall. They are both from out of town, so they wanted to use the iconic landmarks of their new home, in some of their photos. It was a lot of fun and I’m looking forward to their beautiful fall wedding at the Evergreen Country Club!
