Silver Swan Bayside Wedding-Lauren&Jody-Kent Island Wedding Photographer

I feel like these two have become my friends over the course of wedding planning, engagement photographing, album making and more! Jody and Lauren first met in Federal Hill, a mecca for going out, meeting people and maybe finding someone to marry some day. 🙂 Their love story began with a crazy night with friends, I will spare the details of just HOW crazy, but something must’ve stuck because on this very warm (HOT, humid, stormy) day they said their “I Do’s” in front of their family, friends and also a couple of boats who anchored close by to watch.

A few things I will note: this was the stormiest wedding to date, not the most intense one (which I also experienced at Silver Swan) but there were TWO seperate t-storms during the reception. I was grateful that we were able to stick to our outdoor ceremony and photo plans. Also, because of these crazy storms, the skies were amazing and eventually cleared up right in time for a great sunset AND rainbow. The colors orange and pink once again made an appearance, I am partial to orange and I loved it. I love weddings with bright, colorful dancefloor lights! If you are thinking about getting a DJ/Band and they have this option, get it! It makes for some cool photos and also makes you feel like you are in a club, you want people to dance, right?! Finally, I will say that I am truly happy for them both, they are such a nice couple and I have enjoyed taking their photos…. I guess I could get called back one day when they have kids?! 🙂
