This was my first wedding of 2011 and it’s a cute l-o-v-e story! It all began in the 4th grade with a (DJ’s) crush, that led to high school friendship, which led to…. marriage! What made this day even more exciting is that it was booked one month prior to the date AND we all did not know if it was going to even happen, until one week before. DJ was stationed in Japan and due to the unfortunate incidents there, we all were biting our nails, hoping the Navy would still grant him his leave to come home for his wedding. They did. April Showers were in full effect, but all the bright colors of the flowers and dresses made it much more cheerful! It really wasn’t too bad and I got to make use of my fancy umbrella too. Luckily, the interior of the CBEC had windows all around, so we could still see the rustic, green surroundings. Congrats to the B&G!
