An Annapolis Wedding – St. Mary’s Parish + Matapeake Beach Wedding – Kelly & Shawn – 5.10.14

I first met Kelly & Shawn at the Matapeake Beach bridal open house at what-was-to-become their wedding venue. Then we had another chance to “hang out” at their fun Downtown Annapolis engagement session with their furry child, Cooper. And even though Cooper was not allowed to partake in the wedding day activities, we know he was there in spirit 🙂 Fast forward to 5.10.14: we started off the day at the Westin hotel in Annapolis. This place is huge and it really is like a major hub for weddings, in some ways it reminds me of the airport in Atlanta – it’s a great place to get ready for your big day and then take transportation to anywhere you want to go. At St. Mary’s Parish, they had a personalized ceremony that had everyone smiling and laughing, they had a lot of compliments on Father Andy Costello’s service. Finally, we headed over to their party at the beautiful Matapeake Beach & Clubhouse. Everyone was dancing and having a great time and even though you can’t always guarantee a dramatic sunset along the Chesapeake Bay, it doesn’t matter because the atmosphere is always amazing! Congrats to the newlyweds! <3
