Eastern Shore Wedding – Colby + Dave’s Fall, Country Shindig!

Check out the beautiful fall, country wedding of Colby and Dave! It is no secret that I love fall weddings. I also love sweet, wonderful people and the country look that these two went for, for their Eastern Shore wedding! It all started over six years ago when Dave knew there was something special about Colby. Things started off slowly, with them being friends but over time that changed into something much more and here we all were on their very special wedding day. I first met Colby at her parent’s house and I was so impressed by her mom’s own country-decor home, so I wasn’t surprised when I saw that carry over into their wedding decorations. A little bit after that meetup, I had a contest for a free engagement shoot and Dave and Colby came in second place but were SOOO close to winning, that I decided to give them a quick engagement session, as well. That is when I first met Dave and saw how cute they were together!

Initially, Colby wanted an outdoor, rustic wedding but realized that in the fall the weather can be a challenge and there is always a chance of rain, so they opted for an indoor plan which was a good idea, since it did make an appearance that day but not before we had a chance to get some cool shots outside. We loved their ceremony in  “the little white church” in Wye Mills and afterwards, we went across the street to the town’s grain elevator for some more photos. You cannot get more country than that and I loved this spot – it was so unique to this place and fit in perfectly with their country style. I was glad everyone went along with this idea and posed with all the dirty machinery, those ended up being some of my favorite photos of the day! We continued the party in Easton at the Milestone, where everyone had a great time! Happy almost six month anniversary to these two lovebirds 🙂
