A Brittland Estates Wedding – Brittland Manor: Tracy&Marc!

Well, what can I say! It’s been six months since we shared the day with these high school sweethearts, last October, at the always gorgeous Brittland Estates! After seeing the bride celebrating this milestone on Instagram, I decided that it was finally time to post highlights from their amazing wedding! I’m still trying to get this wedding published somewhere – Tracy’s attention to detail and planning, along with their 8 + year love story would look great on a wedding blog or even magazine but for now I am sharing on my own little piece of the internet! After Marc proposed along the shores of the Severn River, in Annapolis, they jumped right into planning. They picked an extremely popular wedding date and when she once commented on it “being crazy” that she was booking vendors well over a year in advance, I reassured her it was not! As soon as the wedding contract was signed the requests started rolling in for her date – 10/5/13 (the first weekend in October) is red hot and actually, it was quite hot on their day – about 80+ degrees  but it didn’t rain and we were happy about that! The wedding set up was beautiful, they tied so many personal details into their decor and favors – the beach, Maryland and of course, the Eastern Shore. The chose some favorite things that reminded them of these places into the day: Fisher’s Popcorn, Orange Crushes, Maryland-themed candy and more. We had so many details and beautiful people and moments to shoot, our cameras were going non-stop the entire time! Tracy is a super planner and knew exactly what she wanted for their big day and I truly think that all her dreams came true.

Tracy sent me some advice to future brides, which I thought I’d share: Enjoy every single moment of engagement, wedding planning and your actual wedding day.  It all passes so quickly and it is so important to just take it all in and enjoy the most amazing day of your life.  I became even closer to my fiancé, family, bridesmaids and friends during my wedding planning .  I loved sharing my wedding dress fittings with my mom and sister and my girlfriends.  I loved picking out all of the details and planning with my fiancé.  I loved my bridal shower and bachelorette weekend surrounded by my family and friends.  I loved the endless laughs and emotional happy tears throughout our wedding.  It is the best day of YOUR life, it is YOUR wedding, YOUR dream, YOUR vision.  Do what makes you happy, the people who truly love and support you will be happy for you no matter what and they will be there for you every step of the way.  It is easy to get caught up in all of the planning and appointments and details, don’t forget what you are celebrating and that it is more than your wedding, it is marrying your best friend, it is forever, it is a marriage, it is the start of your lives together. It is without a doubt the best day of your life!
