A Silver Swan Bayside Wedding ~ Jen&Keith-August 14, 2011 *Kent Island Wedding Photographer*

Keith and Jen’s Silver Swan Bayside wedding day weather forecast was stressing me out! An afternoon, outdoor wedding was planned and all week the weather forecast was showing more and more chance of a lot of rain! Like 100% chance of ALL day rain! I came prepared with not one, but three umbrella selections (just to give them some options and to also use for myself) but they were never put to use! The skies cleared in time for a beautiful, traditional, Jewish ceremony along the shores of the Chesapeake Bay. Being that Kent Island is an island (no way!) the weather has a tendency to shift and during the ceremony it had the feel of being in Hawaii (yes, I’ve been and yes, it was amazing!). It’s hard to explain, it was just a feeling… anyhow, back to the wedding. Keith, Jen and I first met when we did their fall engagement session on the campus of College Park, where they first met. It had been about 9 months since we last saw each other but immediately I felt right at home with the sweet couple, it was like we were old buddies.  Keith had everyone calling me “Dunks” by the end of the night, which always makes me laugh! The celebration was a lot of fun and one that I will not forget, it also makes me not fully trust the weather reports. Congrats to the Bride and Groom!
